That Romeo Show
The 7th and 8th Graders performed their rendition of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet on April 18. Led by Ms. Amanda Holcombe, the actors performed the play as if they had traveled back in time to the 70's. Hippies Gregory and Samson appeared occasionally on stage to provide comical relief, offering thoughts, and posing questions. Tyler McKay, Romeo, and Elizabeth Earwood, Juliet, led the drama group to a spectacular peformance. Overall, the production was a traditional representation of Romeo and Juliet, with a humorous, retrospective twist.

Mercutio, Romeo, and Benvolio do a little jig.

"Merely a flesh wound!"

"But soft, what light on yonder window breaks?"

"Celebrate good times, COME ON!!!"
