At Evangel Mother’s Day Out & Preschool our primary purpose is to glorify God by providing a safe, loving, Christian environment where children can grow and learn.  It is our desire to help the children in our program to realize they are uniquely created by God and that He loves them.  We are committed to provide educational activities and guidance to assist in their spiritual, physical, emotional and social growth.  We hope to cultivate a strong foundation for your child to build their education upon.

We have a wonderful, experienced staff of Christian women who have a combined average of 13 years experience working with young children.  Background checks and fingerprinting are required of all staff members.  Our staff receives CPR and first aid training every 2 years.  Observations and training are done throughout the year.

We offer a structured program where children are learning in everything that they do.  Our curriculum consists of Sing, Spell, Read & Write, Handwriting Without Tears, A Beka, Scripture Bites, Scholastic magazines, and the Preschool Children’s Bible.  Biblical foundations are introduced through bible stories, songs, verse memorization, introduction to catechisms and prayer where character values of service, obedience, compassion, responsibility, self control and love are exhibited.  Alphabet awareness is taught at every age through recitation, visual aids, phoneme sounds, games, books and practice.  Music and Art are incorporated into our classrooms through singing songs, listening to famous composers, and experiencing different forms of art through various craft projects.  Fine motor skills are developed daily by use of manipulatives such as puzzles, playdough, lacing beads, and blocks.

Evangel MDO & Preschool is offered for children ages one to four.  Our hours are 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  There is no after school care offered for students in our program.  Parents interested in applying for admissions for their child into the MDO or Preschool program should call (205 664 1902) or email the MDO office to inquire about available openings.
