She has both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. She not only does a great job teaching first grade, she also is our grammar library coordinator and worked tirelessly all summer to scan books into the library computer system. Mrs. Wade won WIAT Channel 42’s One Class at a Time $1,000 grant in 2005, with which she purchased many items for the library. She and her husband Anthony live in Alabaster, and attend First Baptist Church there. Mrs. Wade enjoys reading children’s books, “window shopping” at antique stores and working in her yard when she isn’t teaching. We are truly blessed to have her at ECCS. | | |
"Evangel Classical Christian School has changed my life personally and professionally. I enjoy the Christian atmosphere and friendship of the other faculty members. I truly feel blessed to be serving with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I look forward to working with my students each day. The parents are so supportive and helpful. Professionally, I am learning so much about the classical methods of instruction. I am challenged to go to a higher level with my students, but I am also being trained and encouraged by a caring, yet professional administration and board. As a Christian educator, my main responsibility is to meet the spiritual needs of my students. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old , he will not depart from it." Children need to learn how to have a relationship with God and how to get along with other people. They need Godly, moral teaching. Evangel provides me with the opportunity to strive to meet these goals daily." |
