Mrs. Karin Ballstadt Upper School History and Bible

Mrs. Karin Ballstadt became a member of the ECCS faculty in 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Winona State University in Minnesota. Mrs. Ballstadt is married to Adam and they have a son, Caleb, born January, 2007. The Ballstadt's attend Valleydale Church. When she is not in the classroom, Mrs. Ballstadt enjoys fantasy fiction writing. She has completed two novels and is constantly on the lookout for publishing opportunities. Her favorite scriptures are Gensis 50:20, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives," and Job 19:25,"I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth," which both speak to the sovereignty and power of God.

"Being a teacher at ECCS is such a blessing to me. Every day during the school year I get to interact with a variety of different people and impart knowledge, and hopefully wisdom, on young minds. When I think of my work environment, I think of friendship, community and faith. As I’ve told many people this year, being a teacher at ECCS means working in the best environment in the world!"
