Mrs. Monie Ingram
Second Grade Teacher

Mrs. Monie Ingram joined the ECCS faculty in 2005 as a second grade teacher.  She attended McNeese State University and Northwestern State University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  Mrs. Ingram has seven years teaching experience.  She and her husband Nathan have two daughters, Micah Joy who attends ECCS and Melody Grace who attends Evangel Mother's Day Out.  They attend Chelsea Bible Church, where Nathan serves as Pastor.  Mrs. Ingram's winning smile and great sense of humor make her a favorite among students and parents alike.  When she is not teaching, she enjoys reading, photography, Bible study, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.  Mrs. Ingram's favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6, "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus."

"Since I began teaching at ECCS, Philippians 1:6 has become more true in my life.  Every day, I see how the Lord is working in my life through friends, family, co-workers, students, and parents.  I love working at ECCS!  The students and their parents are great!  I am constantly encouraged to be a better teacher.  As a parent, I take Proverbs 22:6 ("Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it") seriously.  I believe that the Lord sends parents to our school who have the same desire.  I am so thankful that the Lord has provided ECCS to us so we have a safe place to send our children to be educated.  They are not just educated with subject knowledge, they are also educated with the knowledge and ways of the Lord through His word."
